A few years ago, I had the honor of being inspired by a UN Youth Ambassador. In our conversation, he stressed the importance of "making a positive impact locally before aiming to do it globally".
Since then, I have spent my days living by this creed. I set out to participate in as much volunteering in my community as possible and accumulate academic and professional experiences (including on Critical Minerals/Energy Transition at the Ministerial Level) to become a more efficient advocate regarding the lack of Youth representation in high-level policy decisions.
That preparation bore fruit when I contributed significantly to the Youth 20 Negotiations during the Brazilian presidency of the G20.
I also recently represented Brazil at the High-Level Political Forum 2026 and the ECOSOC Youth Forum 2025, which, no doubt, increased my efficiency in making meaningful contributions to High-Level Policy discussions as well as interacting with the United Nations system.
Last but not least, I also worked as a product manager for IN-VR, directly engaging, recruiting, and managing high-level speakers (C-Level executives, specialists, governmental representatives) and stakeholders.
