I am writing to apply for Engineering Intern position I am an honors student at Virginia State University majoring in Mechanical Engineering & Technology Computer Science Double Major My future aspirations center on securing enough internships throughout my undergraduate career to secure a position where I’ll have hands-on involvement working on and finishing projects to help potentially make a change in the world. I believe the internship will help me achieve my goal of becoming a Successful Engineer.
While working this internship, the skills that come with me are my ability to design with NX, my experience working with tools, and my proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and Java; with that comes good problem-solving skills, whether with a team or by myself. I envision learning from experienced professionals while contributing to the team in a productive and efficient manner to grow and fine tune myself and my skills along with gaining experience. Throughout my time on Virginia State University Campus, I have been involved with Virginia State’s Chapter of the National Society for Black Engineers; I currently act as the Senator and a member of The Honors Program and the Virginia State Chapter of the National Society for Leadership and Success.
