Hostess/Cashier at Norms Restaurant (2026-06 – 2026-08)
This position required strong skills in punctuality, responsibility, teamwork, communication, and customer service. My responsibilities included welcoming guests and ensuring they were seated promptly while maintaining a clean and organized front-of-store area. I regularly worked at the cash register, assisting customers with payments, discounts, gift cards, and the store's rewards app.
I was also responsible for completing daily side duties, including cleaning the store's windows and doors, vacuuming, and restocking to-go supplies. In addition, I assisted customers with their beverages, menu questions, and orders. I worked at the counter to take orders, answer customer questions, and ensure each guest received friendly and efficient service.
This role strengthened my ability to multitask, work effectively as part of a team, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
