I have extensive experience in design, horticulture, and customer service, along with hands-on skills in animal husbandry, carpentry, metal work, and education, both children and adults. My work has spanned building and maintaining functional structures, caring for diverse plant and animal species, and creating engaging educational experiences for the public.
I’m seeking a position where I can use this broad skill set to support a cause I care about - one that connects people with animals, protects the natural world, and fosters environmental stewardship. I thrive in active, outdoor environments, enjoy working directly with the public, and bring both technical expertise and a deep passion for animal welfare and the earth.
I have worked as a receptionist for the past three years while continuing my education in horticulture and museum specimen preservation as well as freelancing in illustration and horticulture. Previously I worked for a couple of years at a plant nursery maintaining plant inventory as well as managing the webshop and authoring & illustrating an educational blog. In the past I've also worked as an animal care technician at a service dog training center and a shop monitor at a wood and metal shop.
I graduated from Savannah College of Art & Design in 2020 with a Bachelor degree in Industrial Design. I minored in Design for Sustainability.
