I am a graduate of the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Economics and French. I obtained my nursing degree from Bon Secours College of Nursing. I worked in the Acute Care Pediatrics Unit at VCU for several years before beginning my career as a school nurse.
I hold a certification as a Nationally Certified School Nurse. After working as a school nurse for nearly 15 years, I left the position to care for my family. I have recently begun teaching nursing students at ECPI, which I find incredibly rewarding.
