Elizabeth Schwan-Rosenwald is a seasoned leader in the social impact sector, widely recognized for her expertise in skills-based volunteering, nonprofit capacity building, and cross-sector partnership development. With a career spanning over two decades, she has designed and scaled innovative volunteer engagement programs that connect corporate talent with community needs.
Elizabeth currently serves as Chief Partnerships Officer at Team4Tech, where she leads strategic collaborations with global corporations to deliver immersive employee volunteer experiences. Her work aligns corporate expertise with nonprofit digital transformation goals, advancing education equity and capacity building in underserved communities.
Previously, Elizabeth served as Chief Programs & Network Officer at Points of Light, where she led global NGO programming and developed tools to strengthen organizational capacity through volunteerism and leadership development.
At Common Impact, she directed programming for over 300 nonprofits, crafting capacity-building scopes of work delivered by skilled volunteers in areas such as strategic planning, HR infrastructure, branding, and operational efficiency. Her leadership helped nonprofits achieve tangible organizational growth through targeted pro bono engagements.
During her impactful ten-year tenure at the Taproot Foundation, Elizabeth served as Chief External Affairs Officer, overseeing the organization’s partnership strategy, brand positioning, and revenue generation. She led a diverse portfolio of nonprofit capacity-building projects, including strategic planning, messaging and branding, human resources, and competitor/collaborator analysis.
Elizabeth is also the founder of JA Consulting, a social impact consulting firm supporting mission-driven organizations with strategic planning, corporate program development, revenue generation strategies, and volunteer engagement. Select clients include the American Society for Mechanical Engineers, Reading Partners, and HandsOn Suburban Chicago.
Earlier in her career, she founded 20% Theatre Company, an all-women’s theatre collective focused on addressing gender inequity and power dynamics in the arts.
