The Health and Safety of employees within the vibrator section, which includes contractors and clients. Hold or delegate daily toolbox meetings within the section.
Order parts and keep in stock all equipment required to maintain all the vibrators. Select vibrator drivers after completion of probationary periods. Have the right to refuse trainee drivers after completion of probationary periods.
Delegate or train new vibrator drivers. Delegate responsibilities to the drivers and mechanics within the vibrator section. Maintain and service the Vibrator service vehicle. Maintain the Sercel instruments within the vibrators.
Ensure that parameters designated by the client are strictly adhered to. Work together with the Senior Observer or Observer in the recording truck, on a daily basis, to ensure the quality of seismic data. Ensure that the vibrators are supervised if faced with hazardous obstacles or major roads encountered on the prospect.
Report any accidents or incidents he is involved in or witnesses. Report any unsafe acts or conditions that he witnesses.
