Developed low-power firmware for a solar-powered agricultural IoT weather station using an Arduino MEGA 2560 to monitor environmental conditions. Simulated, designed, and physically implemented PMOS high-side switching and bidirectional I2C level-shifting circuits to turn off and on 3.3V/5V environmental sensors with a duty cycle, reducing overall system power consumption. Integrated environmental sensors using I2C, SDI-12, and analog interfaces to collect temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, light intensity, soil moisture, and wind speed data.
