A nurse's aids role during the end of life care should focus on comfort and compassion. The nurse aide should respect the religious viewpoints or lack thereof of patients during the Life Care. They should allow family one-on-one time with their loved one.
They should help them talk through their feelings. Also discuss with them the stages of grief. They should also try to keep to a normal schedule to help the patient feel calm. Do activities at the client with love like playing their favorite movie, music, TV Etc.
They should not neglect their physical needs such as, but not limiting tothem with grooming.
