SUPERVISOR at Ufford park hotle (2025-02 – Present)
In my role as a Food & Beverage Supervisor at Ufford Park, I'm passionate about creating a welcoming and well organised environment where guests can enjoy great service from start to finish. I'm often one of the first points of contact, greeting guests, managing bookings, and making sure everything runs smoothly throughout their visit. A big part of my role involves working closely with guests ahead of their arrival handling emails and calls, organising table reservations, and coordinating pre-orders for large groups to ensure an good experience on the day.
I also take pride in supporting and leading the team. Whether it's training new staff, organising rotas, or guiding the team through busy services, I focus on keeping everyone motivated and working together efficiently. Alongside day to day restaurant service, I'm heavily involved in running events such as weddings, conferences, and large group bookings.
From setting up event spaces to overseeing service, I enjoy bringing everything together to create memorable experiences for guests. I'm also hands-on during service running food, maintaining high cleanliness standards, managing stock orders, and working as a trained barista with Paddy & Scott's coffee. I joined Ufford Park Hotel as a Food and Beverage Assistant and progressed to developing supervisory skills during my time in the role. I gained experience supporting the day‑to‑day management of the restaurant and assisting with events and functions. My responsibilities included taking food and drink orders, food running, processing payments, hosting guests, and ensuring high standards of customer service at all times.
I also assisted with setting up and hosting functions, ensuring events ran smoothly and to schedule. I am confident working under pressure, meeting tight time scales, and contributing positively as part of a team.
Trainee at The Shear Club (2023-08 – 2024-03)
During my time at the Shear Club, I gained an insight in to barbering. My daily tasks included general housekeeping, greeting customers, managing bookings via the online system, taking payments and answering incoming calls.
Apprentice at Avalon Hairdressing (2021-09 – 2023-03)
I began an apprenticeship with Avalon upon completing my GCSE'S. Alongside my college work and training, my daily tasks within the salon included greeting customers, seating them and ensuring they were satisfied and comfortable. I would answer incoming calls, dealing with queries and making bookings. I would take payments for services and products. I would also complete general housekeeping within the salon and complete my hairdressing services where applicable.
