My name is Emy Kiernan, and I have a bachelor's degree in child development. I am currently looking for a preschool teaching position. I have been working with children as a nanny for 10 years, along with 5 of those years working at the City of Carlsbad in their parks and recreation department as a recreational leader.
I have worked with ages 6 months to 15 years old. I am cpr and first aid certified. I am a great communicator and a determined, hard worker. I love working with children because I can create special bonds and memories with them.
I love teaching children because I want to make learning fun and explorative. I believe learning never ends and that it should be something that children should love to do. I also love seeing how children think and how they experience the world around them.
