Computational Engineer with a PhD in Engineering and more than 15 years of experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), hydrodynamic modeling, hydraulic engineering, and numerical model development. Extensive expertise in OpenFOAM, including free-surface and multiphase flows, wave modeling and propagation, turbulence modeling, fluid-structure interaction (FSI), and advanced numerical methods for complex hydraulic and marine applications. Developed and customized OpenFOAM-based solvers for large-scale dam-reservoir systems, simulating earthquake-induced hydrodynamic pressures, wave propagation, and fluid-structure interaction in complex hydraulic infrastructure.
Experienced in wave generation, free-surface flow, floating-body dynamics, and overset-mesh CFD. Strong proficiency in Linux-based high-performance computing (HPC), parallel simulation workflows, C++, Fortran, SALOME, Gmsh, and ParaView. Experienced in the complete CFD workflow from geometry preparation and mesh generation through simulation, validation, post-processing, and interpretation of large numerical datasets.
Author of 40+ peer-reviewed scientific publications, with extensive experience preparing technical engineering reports, documenting numerical methodologies and results, and translating complex simulation findings into practical engineering recommendations and decision-support information for multidisciplinary projects.
