Architect, Designer, Author, Educator, Historian, Zealot. I have been a practicing architect and designer for more than 30 years and have taught design studios across the country. I am on the board of DoCoMoMo_US - a national advocacy organization dedicated to the preservation, documentation and conservation of the Modern Movement.
I have worked for large, multinational firms while teaching as an adjunct faculty member at Universities in New England and Chicago. My professional experience includes Perkins&Will, and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in addition to small practices in Chicago and Japan. My academic experience includes teaching design studios at the University of Tennessee, Illinois Institute of Technology, Roger Williams University, the Boston Architectural Center, and the California College of the Arts.
