Human Resource Specialist/Manager at United States Army (2003-08 – 2008-03)

Served in dual roles concurrently, in Iraq, August 2006-March 2008. Worked directly with 9 department/station supervisors (e.g., Medical Screens, Dental Screens, Vision Evaluations, Training, Legal, and Chaplaincy, among others) to assess needs design an integrated work flow plan. Created performance-tracking mechanism for each phase, gaining approval from all stations. Conducted pilot testing with GAP analysis, then implemented plan throughout the unit. Outcome: Performance-tracking program increased efficiency by 65%, minimized errors, and streamlined overall process.
• Established a cross-training program for the SRP process. Identified strengths of each team member and designated subject matter experts to cross-train others. Outcome: All employees were trained in operations protocols; everyone now accountable. Efficiency of personnel rose 55%.
