I am an educator, yoga teacher, and wellness professional with a strong foundation in kinesiology, creative arts education, and community-centered programming.
Community service is central to my values. I have volunteered with organizations supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, participated in community health education initiatives in Ghana, and assisted adaptive sports programs for children and adults with disabilities. I bring a holistic, compassionate approach to my work, combining education, wellness, and creative leadership to build inclusive, impactful communities.
Over the past several years, I have served as a Visual and Performing Arts and Yoga Teacher in a college preparatory setting, fostering students’ creativity, body awareness, and confidence through art and yoga. Previously, as Education Director at Art Beast Studios, I led program development, curriculum design, staffing, and budgeting, while creating sustainable educational programming during the COVID-19 pandemic. My experience spans K–12 and post-secondary education, in-person and virtual learning, and large-scale program coordination.
Alongside my work in education, I have taught yoga and group fitness since 2012, leading classes, workshops, and trainings in yoga, mindfulness, meditation, strength, and conditioning for groups of up to 55 participants. I am passionate about making movement accessible and empowering for people of all backgrounds and abilities.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from California State University, Sacramento, and am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) through Yoga Alliance. My work bridges movement, mindfulness, and creative expression to support whole-person development across diverse learning environments.
