I have been a RN since 2014 graduated with my BSN in 2017. Worked in various areas in the hospitals such as med-surg, telemetry, operating room, pre-op, post-op in NC. BLS, ACLS and PALS certified. I am a crazy dog mom who loves to travel with my pups. I enjoy trying new things and meeting new people.
Outpatient Surgery Center of Asheville Feb 2022-current. Multi speciality ambulatory surgery center that consists of orthopedics, general, plastics, cataracts and urology procedure. One week consists of Pre-op and the opposite week I work in Post-op.
Margaret Pardee Hospital as a Day Surgery Nurse Pre-op prepping patient’s for surgery, holding area assists anesthesia with a variety of block placements and spinal administrations, Post-op discharging patient’s while providing discharge instructions and education to each individual and their responsible adult.
Mission Hospital July 2019- Feb 2022 in both the Operating Room and Pre/Post-Op areas. OR nurse primarily working with Urologic procedures and general procedures secondary. Pre-op a variety of patients for all procedures in a level 1 trauma center. Floated to Post-op as needed.
Margaret Pardee Hospital Progressive Care Unit nurse from April 2017-July 2019. 5:1 patient to nurse ratio majority of pt’s requiring telemetry monitoring, various medication drip monitoring, while performing and providing medication administration and assistance in ADLs.
Vidant Medical Center med-surg nurse Oct 2014-March 2017. 5:1 patient to nurse ratio primarily caring for nephrology and med-surg overflow patients. Telemetry monitoring required and some medication IV drip monitoring, draw and monitor labs, med administration, daily assessments, snd assistance in ADLs.
