I am an award-winning director, producer, and hard worker eager for more experience and connections. I love making movies and I am passionate about bringing people together to do so. When I am not doing that, I am watching movies, skiing, mountain biking, or playing narrative-based video games.
I am a director and producer with a decade of experience working on marketing videos and ads for major brands like CU Boulder, Paramount, Nike, and Syngenta. I am also a producer and director of narrative and documentary films, often stretching very tight budgets, and bringing people together to make a great movie. My most recent project had me directing a 55-person crew on a limited budget and timeframe.
While I do hold a BFA in film production from the University of Colorado Boulder, where I learned the most is on set and from other people. For example, on my latest short film I worked with a large crew of professionals all across Colorado, including our Emmy award-winning DP. From him, and everyone else on set, I learned a significant amount of information about the industry, the best ways to run a set, and how to manage a large group of people.
Through my productions, and through my small freelance filmmaking business, I have learned how to be a leader, how to manage both people and a budget, how to collaborate, and all the technical aspects of filmmaking.
