Ethan Hernandez

I am a 3rd year student studying mechanical and manufacturing engineering technology at Morehead State University. I have oftentimes been praised by my professors and colleagues for my strong work ethic and punctuality. I oftentimes work with CAD, C++, and automation programing. In my free time, I enjoy going on hikes, tinkering with Arduinos, and watching movies.

I have been working at least a part time job ever since I was 16 years old at the horse farm I used to live on before attending MSU. Nowadays, I work at my local Lowes store, as well as working as an undergraduate research fellow with the engineering department here at MSU. I oftentimes run various tests on parts using Arduino sensors, and develop spreadsheets of the results, I also engage with my professors and coworkers in order to create various products which would be utilized in college grant programs or competitions.

I currently attend MSU, with an expected graduation in May of 2024. Within my program, I have took various classes which taught me skills such as G-code programming, FANUC robotic programing and manipulation, CAD and drafting using software such as AutoCAD and Solidworks, PLC programing and manipulation, as well as knowledge of CNC manufacturing.
