I’m a hard worker, that prides myself on being productive, efficient, and helpful to those around me.
I’ve been in the electrical supply business for about 7 years now. In my previous roles as a van driver and warehouse worker, I drove the delivery van, ensured safe and timely deliveries were made, stocked shelves in the warehouse/showroom, drove the forklift, received shipments of material, staged material for trucks, pulled orders for customers, and cleaned. In my current role, I deal with selling electrical supplies to contractors, billing, opening the store, cashing-out the register, customer support issues, answering phones, quotations, reviewing backorders, and navigating supply-chain issues, as well as some of the warehouse responsibilities previously listed.
Prior to my electrical supply career, I was a sales associate and assistant manager for a retail store. As a sales associate, I dealt mostly with customer engagement, helping with product-related questions, ringing out sales at the register, receiving shipments of items, up-selling material at the register, returning material from customers, inventory, as well as any cleaning/straightening shelves that needed to be taken care of. As an assistant manager, I was responsible for the sales-associate tasks, as well as scheduling, opening & closing the store, cashing-out the register, setting sales-goals, monitoring sales numbers, setting up clearance sales events, changing out the stores merchandising, as well as helping to manage the sales staff.
High school education with a few semesters of college experience, but no degree.
