Hi My Name is Evan Zubrod I was raised on the Big Island of Hawaii and have been doing videography for 16 years. I love to create and capture moments that tell a story while leaving people emotionally engaged and captivated throughout my films. My goal is to deliver films people want to share, comment on, and watch again and again. I’m super excited to work with you and tell your story.
2016 - PRESENT
Co-owner and Lead Videographer / Float Media, LLC / Honolulu, Hawaii
● Responsible for working with a team or single handedly, depending on the event booked, to ideate, create, produce and deliver projects on time.
● Manage teams of 2-13 videographers.
● Liaison with the team, clients, and various other members throughout the pre-production, production, and post-production process.
● Meet with clients to help coordinate the creative vision and strategy to bring their vision to life.
● Coordinate day-of schedule, locations, on-site creative direction and quality control of client’s messaging.
● Creatively edit and deliver final cinematic videos to clients.
Lead Videographer and Manager / Journey Cinema / Ko Olina, Hawaii
● In charge of single handedly filming or as a Lead Videographer for, managing multiple filming teams, and liaising with a joint Japanese wedding company in which we filmed over 6,500 weddings a year for; for both Ko Olina Resort and the entire island of Oahu.

● In charge of approving and coordinating all photo and video permit requests from other vendors to film in Ko Olina Resort property.
● Work with teams of 2+ to film weddings, events, and commercial marketing productions.
● Responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and managing teams of 2-15 videographers.
● Ensure all camera and audio equipment is working properly, as well as troubleshooting.
● Data management; ensure all shot SD cards are transferred to drives and organized for editors.
● In charge of training all new employees in each of their respective company roles.

● NOTE: Ko Olina Productions was the former name of Journey Cinema prior to new company ownership. Same responsibilities apply as above except Ko Olina Productions was the exclusive in-resort photo and video production company for all hotels on the Ko Olina Resort property.

● Deliver completed films directly to client’s hotels and to the company's other locations around the island.
