Dear Human Resources,
My name is Eve Mersch and I would welcome the opportunity to be considered for any administrative and/or teaching position you might have available for the 2023-2024 school year. Attached is my resume highlighting my education and work experience. Having been an administrator and/or teacher since 1991, I believe I have the experience and skills which would be an asset to your school.
In addition, I was a Rotary Exchange Student to Brazil during my senior year in high school so I am comfortable living outside of the United States and pretty fluent in Portuguese. I also have some basic knowledge of Arabic and Spanish. In my current position, I am the Assistant Principal, Dean of Students and teach either one or more junior high math or history courses.
I am the NWEA MAP coordinator and proctor MAP testing for the entire school, as well as, provide professional development for my staff on using MAP data to inform instruction. I have also presented on classroom management using the Harry Wong method. I actively mentor our new staff in the best practices and provide guidance and perform both formal and informal observations.
I have had the opportunity to serve on an AdvancEd (now Cognia) team for the accreditation of another school and serve regularly on the team preparing reaccreditation of my own school.
I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with someone to further highlight some of my other experiences and skills in the field of education.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
