Faith Jackson

I'm currently a full-time student working part-time in the customer service industry. On account of past & current work experience, I'm proficient in my leadership abilities, communication skills, technological applications, advanced problem solving, and more. I intend on continuing my higher education, focusing on Nursing, Public Health, and policy issues, to emerge in the Medical field.

Further on my career pursuits, my main goal is to effectively advocate for underrepresented and underserved communities/demographics, educate communities, eradicate health disparities, and effectively abridge the unintended consequences of various public health systems and policies. I'm incredibly passionate about improving the quality of life for all individuals and equitable resourcing — and am dedicated to fulfilling this sentiment professionally while growing more as a leader.

Cafe Du Monde February 2023 - Present

Cashier & Barista

• Manage and operate cash register and point-of-system virtual portal to fulfill customer orders and retail purchases
• Took coffee, food, and other beverage orders and prepared them for customers quickly and effectively
• Maintained a clean and hygienic working and dining area
• Communicated with both customers and crew to ensure peak dining experience for peak dining experience

Crew Member & Certified Trainer

• Officially train all incoming crewmembers on restaurant standards and procedures
• Provide stellar and enthusiastic customer service, promptly resolve customer concerns and answer questions regarding the restaurant menu and corporation at large
• Effectively communicate with team members and management to ensure customers receive quality products and service
• Actively monitor store upkeep and cleanliness, ensuring store organization and overall customer satisfaction 

Though I graduate with my high school diploma in May (2023), I'm concurrently enrolled as an undergrad in an accredited university gaining credits towards my aspired dual college majors. I'm set to attend a different university officially as am undergraduate freshman in the August (2023).
