Senior Researcher, 5G/6G Systems and Standards at Ericsson Research (2022-10 – Present)

• Conducted spectrum and coexistence technical analysis between satellite D2D and terrestrial IMT, generating quantitative results and technical contributions supporting company spectrum positions in international and regional regulatory and standardization forums (ITU-R, CEPT/ECC).
• Led a TN–NTN coexistence study in the EU 6G NTN research project (in collaboration with European universities and companies), developing technical concepts and analyses for future 3GPP NTN standardization.
• Represented Ericsson as a technical delegate in ITU-R (in preparation for WRC) and CEPT/ECC meetings and EU research projects; presented technical findings and took part in technical debates on spectrum sharing and coexistence.
• Developed Ericsson's Satellite Spectrum Statement of Direction (SoD), defining objectives and regulatory and standardization strategies aligned with business, technology, and product priorities.
• Directed an 11-member international Satellite Spectrum team including four technical specialists and seven regional experts. Set technical direction and coordinated work across ECC/CEPT, FCC, ISED, CITEL, ATU, ASMG, and APT.
• Evaluated internal and external technical and standardization proposals and coordinated spectrum positions across regulatory, 3GPP standardization, product, and business teams.
• Coordinated spectrum priorities with network vendors (Huawei and Nokia) and mobile operators within GSA and GSMA.
• Authored or co-authored 10+ regulatory contributions in ITU-R (IMT and satellite working parties) for preparation of WRC27 and 6 contributions in CEPT.
• Presented complex spectrum, coexistence, and research findings in ITU-R and ECC/CEPT for technical and regulatory audiences and engaged in technical debates supporting Ericsson's spectrum position.

Senior Researcher, Electromagnetic Field (EMF) Health and Safety at Ericsson Research (2019-10 – 2022-09)

• Conducted RF EMF exposure compliance assessments for Ericsson 5G base stations, evaluating compliance with international and regional RF EMF safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Developed measurement-based and simulation-based methods for assessing RF exposure levels from 5G Massive MIMO base stations, providing technical analysis to support deployment, regulatory compliance, and EMF standards activities.
• Developed a measurement-based RF exposure-assessment method for millimeter-wave 5G systems, addressing challenges related to in situ measurements of 5G mmW exposure.
• Established and led Ericsson-KTH university collaboration on measurement techniques to measure body absorption in the mm-wave frequency range, including anechoic and reverberation chambers.
• Authored or co-authored 7 peer-reviewed research papers on EMF exposure assessment methodologies, accumulating 200+ citations.

Postdoctoral Researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology (2019-01 – 2019-09)

• Developed advanced antenna solutions based on higher-symmetry periodic structures for millimeter-wave antennas for 5G communication systems, in collaboration with Ericsson AB, Sunway Communication, and Digital Metal.
• Authored or Co-authored 12 peer-reviewed papers in electromagnetics, metasurfaces, and antenna, accumulating 150+ citations. Presented research results at two scientific conferences.

Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at KTH Royal Institute of Technology (2013-11 – 2018-12)

• Designed high-gain steerable lens antennas and millimeter-wave leaky-wave antennas for point-to-point wireless communication systems.
• Developed efficient and cost-effective antenna–filter integration solutions using higher-symmetry periodic structures and gap waveguide technology for millimeter-wave communication systems.
• Developed an electromagnetic remote sensing method to detect currents in power transmission lines, applying convex optimization to optimize sensor placement for smart-grid applications.
