I am a B.S. Candidate in Neural Science at New York University, double minoring in Chemistry and Art History. I aspire to obtain my MD/PhD, hoping to become a pediatric neurosurgeon. Born and raised in Nigeria, I have a strong desire to bridge the disparities in healthcare in the African diaspora through the avenue of public health. I have a huge interest in research which I have been able to hone through experiences at the University of Michigan Neurology Department, NYU Langone, and the research lab at the NYU Fenton laboratory, where I currently am. I have numerous applicable skills, holding many leadership positions at NYU, and have proven to be a great collaborator and a pleasure to work with. I am open to working and continuing to build my network.
