Francisco Philibert

My name is Francisco Philibert, and I am a registered nurse with many years of Hospice experience and clinical leader based in the El Paso area. I recently completed my Master of Science in Nursing, which strengthened my foundation in leadership, informatics, and evidence-based practice. I many years experience in a leadership role, where I focus on providing compassionate, patient-centered care while also supporting and developing other nurses.

My background as both a nurse and Army veteran has shaped my leadership style. I value teamwork, accountability, steady decision-making, and leading by example. I take pride in staying calm in high-pressure situations and ensuring that patients and families feel supported during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

I am always looking for ways to grow professionally, strengthen my management skills, and make a meaningful impact in healthcare.

I am a hospice registered nurse and clinical leader with extensive experience in end-of-life care, complex symptom management, and interdisciplinary team coordination. I currently serve in a leadership role where I oversee patient care, support staff development, and help ensure high-quality, compassionate services for patients and families. My background includes serving as a Direcotr of Nursing and mentoring nurses in clinical decision-making, documentation standards, and patient advocacy.

I am passionate about leadership development, process improvement, and using evidence-based practice and informatics to enhance patient outcomes in hospice care.

I earned my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in February 2026, with a focus on leadership, informatics, and healthcare management. My graduate education strengthened my skills in data-driven decision-making, quality improvement, and organizational leadership. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), which provided a strong clinical foundation in patient-centered care, research application, and professional nursing practice.

My academic background supports my commitment to advancing hospice care through leadership, mentorship, and evidence-based practice.
