Autozone is a great company to work for as a beginner job to understand the basics and functions for car parts. I learned a lot and still learn every day being there. Comprehending how the customers are and how to make sales for the complete job. Its a great work environment but falls behind on proper training and there is never any kind of recognition for the amount of work one does.

Pickup / Curbside - Lowes Home Improvement - El Paso, TX

At Lowes I was mainly in charge of picking online orders and dispensing online orders that pulled up to our pickup spots. It was a great job but there was never enough help with other coworkers. It began to be more difficult towards more of the seasons and holidays only because when the store thrived on sales but there was still never enough help.

I almost ended up hurting myself because I was always in charge of getting heavy items too and there was still never enough help. Customers would then get mad because orders were always behind and they would still have to wait on their orders.

Digital Team member - Walmart - Belton, TX

The best job I've had and by far the best working experience. Was working as a curbside associate. Id help take out groceries to customers cars or drivers. Get your orders situated and making sure all deliveries and orders went out correctly.

I moved back home though and was trying to transfer to a different walmart but something happened with the transfer which didn't allow me to continue working for them. I don't know why but I guess all Walmart's are different even though you wouldn't think so. I can gladly explain the situation that occurred.

Worked with the food for a short period of time until they found out I was bilingual, I then started to just be an every day cashier for them. Could not complain about the job but within the employees there was a lot of drama I didn't wanna be a part of. Other than being cashier, I'd help restock and keep the store clean.

Worked here at the same time I was an apprentice locksmith. Was in charge of running the cash register. Maintaining the store and closing up at the end of the night. Restocking cleaning and customer service.

I was running around for a little bit working with an older gentleman that was trying to sell his company. After those few months he was ready to leave it but I on the other hand was not ready to take it. But I did learn a lot and understood the work ethic of basic locksmith work.

During covid I had no choice but to work a 12 hr graveyard shift. It was probably one of the more difficult times, but worked there only to get back on my feet. Was in charge of packaging peanuts and assorting a range of different types of peanut snacks.
