An Art Historian that studied in Autonomous University of Madrid. I've worked on collaborative curatorial projects at the Prado Museum through the In Medias Res initiative, devising and organizing workshops such as Hilos Conductores and Vine, vi y hablé. These initiatives aim to create a space for conversation centered on the works on display at the museum.
I've taken part in research and outreach projects through university, and I've undertaken a professional internship at a research institute: Instituto Moll, specialized in Flemish painting.
Collaborative Curatorship at Museo Nacional del Prado (2023-12 – 2026-06)
In medias res is a collaborative curatorial project proposed by the Education Department of the Prado National Museum, aimed at young people with diverse objectives and interests that converge in this activity. We intend to develop new ways of experiencing the museum and observing its works through projects that I assisted in the design and participation of, such as: I Came, I Saw, I Spoke and Guiding Threads. This space offered us training and active participation in numerous interactions with the expectant public.
Cataloging and Research at Instituto Moll (2025-09 – 2025-12)
Instituto Moll is a research center that aims to assess, investigate, and catalogue the Flemish art heritage in Spain. My professional training focused on using a digital archive to catalogue works on the Flemish art in Spain website, and I was also able to submit my own research on the literary references in the engraving Muziekanten in een Mosselschelp, which revealed a gestural language associated with the imagery of folly.
Conference Participant - Encuentros Detonantes at Museo Nacional del Prado (2024-09 – 2024-09)
Encuentro de Detonantes was an art exhibition presented in the auditorium of the Prado National Museum. It included the participation of young people involved in activities within the education departments of the Thyssen, Reina Sofía, and Prado museums. At the round table discussion, we came together to reflect on the role of young people in cultural spaces.
Social Media Management at Museo Nacional del Prado (2024-12 – 2025-05)
Social media management for the In medias res youth Instagram account. This includes designing posts and reels, collecting images, and gathering image and video content.
Curatorship Project - Hilos Conductores at Museo Nacional del Prado (2024-05 – 2026-06)
This project revolves around the works exhibited at the Prado National Museum, drawn from both the permanent collection and the temporary exhibition 'Arte y transformaciones sociales en España 1885-1910'. We focused on the act of knitting and invited the audience to participate in a collective reflection on the role of women. We chose crochet as a way to reclaim a tradition generally associated in contemporary times with domestic and feminine spheres.
The project was digitized and made available on the museum's website and social media. We also visited student residences.
Curatorship Project - Vine, vi y hablé at Museo Nacional del Prado (2023-02 – 2023-08)
The creation of the guestbook for the exhibition 'Herrera the Younger and the Total Baroque' stems from the intention of creating a new space for dialogue between the curator and the visitor. The design of the templates, the questions, and the overall concept were the result of teamwork.
