Gage Olson

Certified Private Pilot currently studying at Utah State University’s aviation program. Working towards becoming a commercial pilot. I love flying, playing golf, and being outdoors.

During High School, I worked at Gladstan Golf Course in Payson, Utah (May 2019-May 2021). My job was managing the golf carts and assisted with the driving range operations. I worked there until I graduated, then moved up to Logan to study at Utah State University.

While studying in the aviation program, I worked at Infinite Discs as a warehouse employee. My job was to package online orders and ship them. I worked there from September 2021 to May 2022. During that time, I got my Private Pilot’s license.

Then, I went on to Norway as a volunteer missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints from June 2022 to June 2024. One of my assignments during my mission was to coordinate the mission’s fleet of vehicles, manage apartment contracts, coordinate missionary travel, and draft prospective missionaries’ temporary residency permit applications. I learned to speak Norwegian fluently and had to conduct business in Norwegian. I had to negotiate apartment contracts, schedule vehicle maintenance and coordinate travel in Norwegian.

Completed two semesters at Utah State University. Obtained Private Pilot’s License at 53 flight hours.

Graduated from Salem Hills High School with honors.
