About

My name is Garret Rackley, I am a recent graduate from the University of North Texas with a Bachelors of Science in Geography with a minor in Psychology. I very much enjoy working outdoors and have worked at a small Land Surveying company for the last three years. This job not only gave me the independence to complete all aspects of the surveys, but also to train others in the field as well.

I enjoy the outdoors in my spare time as well including backpacking, climbing, caving, and more. Many of the activities I have participated in the past have also taught me a great deal of leadership skills and given me much experience using them, these include ROTC in high school and two years of college, Boy Scouts where i led a troop of upwards of 50 people(including leading 14+ day backpacking trips with groups of 12 or more), and leading cave survey expeditions where groups of 5-15 cavers explore and map newly discovered cave systems in Texas and Mexico.
