Garth Larwin

My name is Garth Larwin. I am currently employed with Nucor Steel. I have extensive machinist/mechanical knowledge and expertise. I have a strong work ethic with great leadership skills, good communication skills, and I am safety orientated.

My previous experience includes working in the aerospace field, having my own machine shop, being an operations supervisor, and winning national machining championships. Personally, my hobbies include woodworking and classic cars. I would like to meet with you to discuss future employment with your company.

I have 35+ years experience as a machinist. Other experiences include: an apprenticeship as a moldmaker, an operations supervisor for an aluminum company, and owning a machine shop. I have also worked on building aircrafts, rockets, and various aerospace parts.

I have an associates degree in Machine Technology from Orange Coast College. I also have certification using overhead cranes, forklifts, and electrical lock out tag out ATL-2.
