I learned to play chess at 8 years old, over 50 years ago, and started playing competitively at age 9. I have recently been playing in USCF sanctioned tournaments through the ASU Chess Club. I am very dependable, responsible and very friendly and easy to talk to. I recently taught my 5 year old grandson to play chess and would like to teach kids , preferably from 5 - 15 yrs old, the incredible, amazing, fascinating and exciting game of chess.

I have been playing chess for 50 plus years, have read countless books on chess, and certainly feel qualified to teach chess at a beginner to intermediate level. This would be the start of my professional career.
