Hello! I am a graduate research assistant currently working towards my Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. I have a passion for innovation and a robust background in immunology and cellular research.
I am a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Oklahoma, focusing on immunologically modified nanocomplexes for cancer treatments and investigating cellular mechanisms of glycated chitosan in dendritic cells; concurrently, I serve as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, providing guidance to senior BME capstone students and contributing to curriculum development. In my previous role as Operations & Media Manager at the National Weather Center Library, I managed library services, organized events, and streamlined the catalog system. Before that, I was a research associate intern at the California Institute for Biomedical Research involved in investigating cystic fibrosis treatments using imaging and biological assays.
I have a BS in Biomedical Engineering and I am currently working towards an MS in Biomedical Engineering expected May 2024.
