I am responsible for Public. Safety and First Responder Safety for Weston County Wyoming. Chaplain for the Weston County Sheriff's Office. I Prepare the Community for Hazards and Disasters and help determine what our Counties top hazards are.
I Coordinate, Plan, Train, and Build confidence in our community and responders. Assess hazards and do damage assessments, also trained with the American Red Cross to do Damage Assessments and deploy nationwide. Work with the Wyoming Office of Homeland Security, request resources, working with outside resources, Joint Information Centers etc.
Sharing resources within the State, especially neighboring counties. Keeping track of County wide resources, shelters, building plans such as long-term power outage plans, debris management plans, and evacuation plans that are critical to life safety. Work with local agencies, businesses and first responders, working on THIRA (threat hazard Identification assessments).

Training Coordinator is responsible for all staff training including teaching classes, tracking their hours, ensuring American Correctional Association (ACA) compliance, developing plans, creating lesson plans and developing standards for training. Also served as Field Training Officer (FTO) to orient new correctional officers. Fire/Safety and Sanitation Officer ensures that the facility meets all OSHA standards on safety, housekeeping, hygiene, sanitation and the general upkeep and cleanliness of the facility.
In addition, this position must keep track of all MSDS books, keep them updated, train on hazardous materials and Hazard Communications while working with local Fire Marshall on weekly inspections. Served as Shift Command, responsible for all operations of the facility including medical, meals, inmate count, emergencies, safety and security of staff and inmates. The disciplinary Officer conducts hearing for inmates when they violate the Code of Inmate Discipline.
