Giselle Mendez

I don't come from wealth or prosperity, but I plan to make my own. The first step to it is a summer job after I graduate high school and before I begin college. I am an adaptive, energetic, and inquisitive individual seeking summer work to earn all-around working experience and money for college.

I was an assistant and babysitter, for a small business owner in my home town for around 5 years. I helped with everything from babysitting kids to helping at the cash register, dealing with unruly customers, walking ponies, and feeding all sorts of animals. Additionally, I was an active and constant volunteer technician for 3 years at the local theater, amounting to ~85 hours, even before it was my actual job.

I served as a stage manager, audio technician, usher, stagehand, and all-around assistant to my supervisors to learn new things. I also participated in all events and aspects of the theater, from being in productions, being a technician, and even ushering and assisting vendors.

I just finished my final year at Valley Center High School with a GPA average of 3.7
