At Davey Resource Group Inc. in Indianapolis, IN, I worked as an Environmental Scientist, where I led teams of 8 to 10 crew members in environmental restoration efforts across more than 20 sites throughout Indiana. My role involved selecting and applying the most effective invasive species control methods using both chemical and mechanical techniques. I was responsible for ensuring team safety in the field by leading Davey safety tailgates and enforcing proper protocols.
In addition, I managed inspections and maintenance for a fleet of seven company vehicles. My work also included conducting tree inventories and environmental surveys in Indiana, Arizona, and South Carolina. I received training in the operation of utility task vehicles (UTVs), chainsaws, brush cutters, and F-350 trucks, supporting both restoration and data collection efforts in diverse field environments.
I graduated from Indiana University Bloomington (May 2023) with my bachelors degree in Environmental Science and a minor in Nonprofit Management & Leadership. I have specific interests in local conservation and education, habitat restoration, invasive species, and forestry. I am passionate about speaking up for both the planet and its people. I strive to lead and work alongside others with empathy, and compassion.
