I am an elementary Health and Physical Education teacher with over seven years of experience working with students in elementary schools and early learning environments. Creating a positive and engaging environment where students can build confidence, develop fundamental movement skills, and discover the joy of being active is my passion.
I believe physical education is an important part of a child’s overall development. My goal is to help students build healthy habits, teamwork skills, and a positive relationship with movement that will support their well-being throughout their lives. I strive to create a classroom culture where students feel encouraged, respected, cared for and excited to participate.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy staying active and living a healthy lifestyle. Some of my favorite activities include playing pickleball, practicing Pilates, and spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking healthy meals. These interests help inspire my teaching each day.
