Over 25 years of diverse engineering experience involving aerospace and mechanical engineering. I come with a strong background in leading complex programs such as; AutoCAD, Inventor, Creo 4 (Pro E), Microstation, and Revit. Well versed in KDDMs/Windchill/Maximo procedures while most of my career has been involved with part fabrication, engineering documentations, specification development, and manufacturing operations.

I have also been trained and certified by ASME for the Section VIII, Division 1 for "Pressure Vessel Design Codes and Practices" and I currently maintain a NASA security level clearance.

Mechanical Engineer Professional Specialist - NASA - Amentum COMET Engineering - Kennedy Space Center, FL

Amentum is the primary contractor for management and implementation of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing and launch operations for NASA

• Support "conceptual designs" to "revisions" of existing designs and modifications to mechanical structure, fluid/pneumatic panels, ground support equipment (GSE) for the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) platforms and Mobile Launcher Platform (MLP 1).
• Work with designs in high pressure systems that are complete with engineering documentation and components required for a complete and viable commercial construction package.
• Designed a replacement Sequential Shunt Unit (SSU) for the ISS. These boxes will "short" the excess current coming from the solar arrays, such that just enough current is provided downstream to maintain the 160-V bus voltage while meeting the power load demand and recharging the batteries for the International Space Station.
• Contractor Lead Engineer (CLE) for the project of generating 2D & 3D models and drawings for the VAB HB3 custom platforms A-K1 utilizing AutoCAD software. These 10 platforms will surround the SLS rocket and Orion spacecraft to provide access for testing and processing during the stacking phase of SLS assembly.
• Provide technical engineering direction for the Mechanical Engineering Department to include procedure development and operational support. Create/author K-PRs, K-CRs (Problem Reports & Change Requests) within Windchill to release engineering.
• Re-design of lubrication system for the 325 ton crane located in the VAB building
• Use AutoCAD and Creo 4 (Pro E) for all CAD designs.
• Maintain product structure using Windchill software. Manage multiple Product Model Numbers (PMNs) in Windchill.
• Taught courses for the Autodesk suite to bring all team members up to speed on the software they will be using for the VAB Platform project.
• Assisted in team meetings and work with management in meeting schedule deadlines.

Private company developing an unmanned spacecraft to send payloads and mining operations to the Moon. Front runner for the "Google Lunar X Prize".

• Designed the mechanisms and stuctural components for the various Moon Express vehicles and payloads.
