Completed field school experience excavating an ancient Maya site that was not a residential area and was on artificial platforms. Worked on buildings on those platforms and found walls. In the specific building worked on, found a wall, a plaster floor, and a large find of ceramic shards at the base. Collected pictures, ceramics, and information from this site. Worked in a hot, humid environment with 15-30 minutes walking distance to arrive at site.
