I am currently a graduate student in the Speech-Language Pathology program at Stony Brook University and will be completing my degree soon. I am actively seeking a Clinical Fellowship (CF) placement where I can continue to grow as a clinician while providing evidence-based, compassionate care. Through my academic coursework and hands-on clinical experiences, I have developed strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, and collaborative practice, and I am eager to transition into a CF role where I can further refine my clinical expertise and contribute meaningfully to a team.
As a student clinician at Westhampton Care Center, a skilled nursing facility, I provided speech-language therapy to adults and older adults with a variety of medically complex conditions, including dysphagia, dementia, aphasia, and cognitive-communication disorders. I conducted bedside swallow evaluations, implemented individualized, functionally focused treatment plans, and documented measurable progress aligned with residents’ daily needs and quality of life. This experience strengthened my clinical decision-making, interdisciplinary collaboration, and ability to deliver person-centered care in a medical setting while supporting patients and families through the rehabilitation process.
