Technicians / Installers The service technician will provide customers with HVAC service and preventative maintenance. Must be able to perform duties in a timely manner while providing excellent customer service. This is an on-call rotating service position.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide HVAC service and preventative maintenance on Rooftop RTUs, split systems.
- Perform HVAC mechanical and electrical inspections to bring HVAC equipment to peak performance.
- Maintain great work efficiency and record keeping with minimal call backs.
- Maintain good communication skills and understand expectations of assigned customers.
- Provide maintenance inspection reports for customers with corrective actions that need to be applied.
- Provide good communication with customers on additional services that may be beneficial to the customer.
- Complete and submit necessary paperwork in a timely manner to the service manager.
- Communicate and work well with other team members and departments regarding accurate and timely completion of projects.
- Excellent driving record - Maintain your service vehicle inventory.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Strong computer skills and ability to apply software tools in regard to HVAC control systems.
- Knowledge of HVAC controls.
- Strong blue print reading and interpretation skills.
- Able to troubleshoot problems and wiring diagrams.
- Must be able to install motors, thermostats controllers.
- Must have own tools.
PREFERRED SKILLS A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an HVAC service position is preferred.
Good references with excellent work attendance and attitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 to $25.00 /hour
Must have a clean DMV record, EPA 608 Universal ( Preferred )
