I am a dedicated and detail-oriented Veterinary Technician (VTNE passed & license-eligible) who possesses a unique professional background.After earning a Master’s degree in History, I chose to follow my true passion for animal welfare and clinical care, completing my degree in Veterinary Technology with High Honors. Since entering the field, I have gained valuable, hands-on experience spanning shelter medicine and general practice.I am deeply committed to high-quality patient care and continuous learning, with a strong focus on technical growth. My primary professional goals are to advance my expertise in veterinary anesthesia, surgical nursing, and emergency care.

I thrive in dynamic clinical environments where I can leverage both my critical thinking background and my technical skills to support my team and provide exceptional care to patients. Outside of the clinic, I’m a passionate pet owner managed by a busy household of three cats.

Experience

Veterinary Technician | Brunswick Crossing Animal Hospital (August 2025–Present)

Responsibilities: Assist veterinarians in routine exams, outpatient care, elective surgeries, and dental cleanings. Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and accurate medication administration. Monitor vital signs during anesthesia and post-op recovery.

Senior Veterinary Assistant | Hillside Veterinary Hospital (December 2024–December 2025)

Responsibilities: Operated in-house diagnostic laboratory equipment and acquired digital and dental radiographs. Prepared surgical suites, assisted with surgical positioning and intubation, and maintained sterile field integrity.

Veterinary Assistant | Inwood Animal Center (March 2023–November 2024)

Responsibilities: Provided safe restraint for canine, feline, and exotic patients during exams and procedures. Performed routine blood draws, IV catheter placements, and medication administration under veterinary supervision.
