Helen Orantes

My name is Helen Orantes and I am a fourth-year student in the field of public health policy at the University of California-Irvine. I am currently working towards my bachelor’s degree and am expected to graduate in June 2025. A few of my strengths are being easily adaptable and working well with others as I make strong connections everywhere I go.

My goal is to work with inner-city communities as this is a background that I come from, and do my best to give back with what I gained by reaching out to my environment.

I have experience working with non-profit organizations and community-based volunteer work, as I enjoy helping and giving back to my community. Most recently, I chose to volunteer in an after-school program at Catalyst, to better understand adolescents and their thinking to further facilitate their needs and give back from the skills I have learned.
