Location: Moving to Philadelphia in September. Currently in Florida.
Experience: 3.5 years post-residency as a primary care pediatrician seeing acute, same day and well visits
Teaching: 3 years of post residency experience as attending to Family Medicine Residents in their outpatient pediatrics rotation. Strong interest in academic medicine and public health. Soon to complete MPH degree.
Patient load: Accustomed to seeing 30-35 patients per day.
Proficiency in acute care procedures: Comfortable with a wide range of simple procedures. Routinely performs in-office x-ray interpretations, splinting, simple dislocation reductions, wart cryotherapy, foreign body removals, suture removals, staple removals and umbilical chemical cauterizations. Comfortable with laceration repairs and abscess drainages but have not performed these since residency. Willing to obtain a CME workshop to brush up before start date.
Certifications: Board Certified -- Active Pennsylvania, Florida and DEA licenses -- Active PALS, ACLS and BLS -- Provisionally Certified in Public Health.
Electronic Health Records: Proficient in Epic, Cerner, Intergy and Centricity
Languages: Native proficiency in English and Spanish.
Preferred schedule: 36-40 hours per week. Willing to work nights and Saturdays.
