Currently I have the privilege to serve the Geriatric community and amazing staff as the Director of Nursing at Decatur Medical Lodge in Decatur, TX. As a previous Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department and ICU, I have cared for patients in an acute setting with a variety of clinical presentations. My professional background as well as life experience has given me the resiliency and adaptability needed to persevere as a Registered Nurse in any setting.

I have had the opportunity to care for ER patients, as well as patients in our ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and Med-Surg Telemetry hold units. Alongside my critical care experience, I’ve been privileged to precept graduate and experienced nurses in an ER setting.
