Hope Simenson

Hi, I'm Hope. I'm a 27 year old who lives in Phoenixville. I'm currently a college student studying Nursing at Delaware County Community College. Ever since I was young, I've always wanted to work in the medical field. I want to help others and make a difference in the world. I have been fortunate enough to have had some experiences with working in the medical field and have enjoyed each and every opportunity that has been given to me. I am looking forward to seeing what the future has in store.

Home Health Aide at PRN Staffing (2020-03 – 2021-01)

I was working with a 93 year old male hospice patient who needed assistance. My responsibilities were to:

• Help the nurse do hygiene such as bathe client/brush teeth, change clients clothes and undergarments, help with wound care etc…
• I used the hoyer lift to transfer him from the hospital bed to the recliner chair. (x2)
• I fed him brunch and dinner both made by his wife.
• Folded and organized clients clean laundry washed by family.

I worked as a cashier helping the customers have a fast and smooth checkout. I also helped bag the customers grocery's.
