My goal is to pour my life out through leading, discipling, and living in light of the Gospel, in deep dependence on the Lord, in leading Classical Christian schools, so that God's people might increasingly live in light of the Gospel, being captured in all of life with exalting the Lord and embodying His character and His mission of making disciples

Head of School at Providence Classical Academy (2010-04 – Present)

Assumed the role of Head of School after a staff split in 2010

• Attendance has grown from 100 in 2009-10 to 680 for 2024-25
• Developed a really strong executive leadership team who now successfully lead across the major areas of school
• Responsible for a staff of over 100 people including recruiting, hiring, and nurturing employees
• During this explosive growth, the school has become more faithful and effective in pursuing its mission and vision of providing Christ-centered discipleship and exceptional, Classically-driven learning in nurturing students who love the Lord and love learning in a way that has deeply shaped their character and the trajectory of their lives
• Responsible for operations of the school: mobilizing and leading leaders, recruiting new students, developing faculty; and overseeing systems, finances, discipline, and curriculum
• Responsible for leadership and ensuring that the school is faithful to our mission and vision
• Helped the school over this time raise over $38 Million, primarily towards capital improvements
• Oversaw five large building projects which included over 100,000 ft2 of educational space
• Through this experience, I have grown greatly in the area of leading and thinking about developing healthy organizational systems, shared leadership, and staff training

Solo Pastor of a Revitalization Work at Grace Presbyterian (2002-01 – 2016-12)

Entered a dead church of 40 people, with most congregants over age 70

• Saw the church grow to a vibrant, mostly younger congregation of over 100 people
• Focused on Leadership (Nurturing a very healthy session out of a very unhealthy session), Preaching, Discipleship (Discipled many men with very encouraging results in terms of growth in godliness, theological and Biblical soundness, and fruitfulness in their discipling of others), Leading Small Groups, and Counseling
• My wife Melissa and I love people and thus loved showing hospitality and building Gospel-centered friendships
