I am a hardworking individual that looks forward to new experiences. As am Oncology Nurse, I have learned life is to0 short - you have to make the best with what you can, and hope for new adventures along with way!
My nursing career began in 2015 at Southcoast Health as a medical-surgical nurse in a community-based hospital setting. In addition to perfecting my medical-surgical skills, I was offered the ability to care for oncology/hospice patients. In 2017, I decided to specialize in oncology and earned by Oncology Certified Nurse Certificate. I currently care for both solid tumor and hematological malignant patients. Oncology is continuously evolving, and I enjoy the research behind the modalities of care we provide patients. For two years, I participated in Oncology Research at Southcoast Health.
I am a proud graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing in North Providence, RI. I received my Diploma in Nursing in 2015, and was Valedictorian of my class along with other certificates of merit. Prior to nursing, I received a BA in Psychology from Boston University in 2010.
