My role as an HVAC Technician in the Facilities Maintenance Department at GUESS? Inc.
Headquarters involves supporting building operations across a large corporate campus. My primary responsibility is maintaining and troubleshooting over 150 rooftop units and air handling systems, as well as exhaust ventilation systems and assisting in chiller control operations when needed. I also work to maintain on-site refrigeration equipment for the facility's cafés and ice machines, performing diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs to ensure reliable operation.
As part of a small facilities team, I regularly support cross-trade projects, working alongside the onsite electrician, assisting with facility upgrades, and contributing to the construction and installation of prop sets for company photo shoots and similar projects for events. Overall, my role combines HVAC troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, refrigeration service, and general facilities support to ensure the campus operates efficiently and safely.
