My name is Iandra Ramos, and I am a graduate of Harvard College with a B.A. in Psychology (Cognitive Science). I was previously a Research Assistant at the Snedeker Lab of Developmental Psycholinguistics, where we studied language learning in children and young adults. With this lab, I completed an undergraduate thesis on the relationship between working memory, reading experience, and linguistic prediction which received a Magna distinction. I look forward to leveraging my experience as an RA to contribute to psychological research!
I have considerable previous experience conducting psychological research both independently and in collaboration with other researchers. As a Research Assistant, I gained data analysis and research writing skills, cultivated my presentation skills, and in general gained a deeper understanding and appreciation of psychological research.
Beyond research, I am a mentor for high school students preparing to take standardized exams or to apply for universities. In the four years I have done this line of work, I have helped students gain admission to the University of Pennsylvania, Georgetown University, UC Berkeley, California Institute of Technology, and other top-ranking schools.
I graduated from Harvard College in May 2024 with a B.A. in Psychology (Cognitive Science) and High Honors. During my time at Harvard, I spent nearly two years conducting psycholinguistic research with the Snedeker Lab and pursuing my undergraduate thesis. Beyond my lab work, my main focuses during my studies were Psychopathology, Neuroscience, and Moral Psychology.
