As a phlebotomist, I was in charge of sticking the donors to extract the plasma. Before the beginning of the donation, we greet the donor and give a little explanation of the process and let them know that we were going to be there for any questions they may have and in case they feel sick during the donation. Customer service is very important in this job, since we must gain the trust of the donors so they can keep coming to donate in our center.

As a lab technician I oversaw processing bottles of plasma and making sure they were approved for the commercialization since the bottles were the final product.
